Developed for Buddhist Vihara Tasmania Inc., the Daana system is a high-performance web platform designed to digitize the ancient tradition of alms-giving. It provides a centralized hub for devotees to book and manage meal offerings (Daana) for the resident monks, ensuring the temple’s daily operations run with clinical precision.
Intelligent Reservations
A calendar-driven interface that allows users to reserve Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner slots. The system prevents overbooking and automates confirmation emails instantly upon reservation.
The Salaaka Daana Engine
A specialized module that manages recurring monthly meal assignments. Utilizing daily cron jobs, the system automatically assigns donors to specific dates, ensuring no day is left without a provider.

- Automated Notifications: Intelligent reminder system that sends alerts to donors 3 days before their reserved date.
- Admin Control Suite: Comprehensive dashboard for temple administrators to manage cancellations, modify the calendar, and track historical donations.
